Litter AM Update: Sexing, 3 Week Weighing
Litter AM is three weeks old now. There are 9 bucks and 5 does in this litter and all look to be doing fine. At three weeks of age, we like to see the kits weight around 0.75 pounds. For extremely large litters such as this, we would expect the kits to fall short of this growth target. The creep feeder is being introduced today. The additional food source should help these kits catch up on their growth. Weights of the bucks in pounds: 0.88, 0.81, 0.78, 0.75, 0.75, 0.75, 0.75, 0.69, 0.66. Weights of the does in pounds: 0.72, 0.72, 0.72, 0.69, 0.66.
